Oxitoz (Oxaliplatin 100 mg Injection) is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent used primarily in the treatment of colon and rectal cancers, especially in advanced or metastatic cases. It works by causing DNA crosslinking in cancer cells, inhibiting their replication, and leading to apoptosis (cell death). It is administered intravenously under strict medical supervision.
