2. Product Description

Avastin 100 mg Injection contains Bevacizumab, a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF-A). By blocking VEGF-A, it prevents activation of VEGF receptors (VEGFRs) on endothelial cells, thereby inhibiting angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels).

This mechanism deprives tumors of oxygen and nutrients, slowing their growth and metastasis. Avastin is commonly used in combination with chemotherapy or other targeted agents for multiple advanced cancers.
