2. Product Description

Bevacirel 400mg Injection contains Bevacizumab, a targeted anti-cancer monoclonal antibody that blocks vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). By inhibiting angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels), it reduces blood supply to tumors, slowing their growth and spread. It is given intravenously as a diluted infusion, under medical supervision.

• Colorectal cancer (metastatic, with chemotherapy)

• Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) non-squamous type

• Cervical cancer (persistent/recurrent/metastatic, with chemotherapy)

• Ovarian / fallopian tube / peritoneal cancer

• Renal cell carcinoma (with interferon alfa or other regimens)

• Glioblastoma multiforme (recurrent cases, per guidelines)

• Hepatocellular carcinoma (in combination with atezolizumab)

Common:

• Hypertension

• Fatigue, headache

• Proteinuria (protein in urine)

• Minor bleeding (nosebleeds, gums)

• Delayed wound healing

• Diarrhea, loss of appetite

• Infusion-related reactions

Serious (rare but critical):

• Gastrointestinal perforation/fistula

• Severe hemorrhage (GI, lung, brain)

• Stroke or heart attack (arterial thromboembolism)

• Deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism

• Congestive heart failure

• Severe proteinuria, nephrotic syndrome

• Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES)

• Surgery: Avoid use within 28 days before/after major surgery due to wound healing risk.

• Blood Pressure: Monitor & control hypertension before and during treatment.

• Proteinuria: Check urine regularly; discontinue if severe.

• Bleeding risk: Contraindicated in patients with recent hemoptysis or high bleeding risk.

• Thromboembolic events: Caution in patients with history of clotting disorders.

• Pregnancy/Lactation: Not recommended (risk of fetal harm); use contraception during and for 6 months after treatment.

• Use only under specialist oncology supervision.
