Ramiven 200 mg Tablet contains Abemaciclib, a selective cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 4 & 6 inhibitor.
It works by blocking CDK4/6 activity, which prevents phosphorylation of the retinoblastoma protein (Rb) and stops cell cycle progression from G1 to S phase. This leads to inhibition of cancer cell proliferation.

It is primarily prescribed in hormone receptor-positive (HR+), HER2-negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer, either in combination with endocrine therapy (such as aromatase inhibitors or fulvestrant) or as monotherapy in certain cases.
