Pivikto 150mg Tablet contains Alpelisib, an oral phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase (PI3K) inhibitor.
It selectively inhibits the PI3K isoform of the enzyme, which is often mutated in cancers (PIK3CA mutation). This blockage reduces tumor cell growth and survival.

It is primarily used in combination with Fulvestrant for the treatment of hormone receptor-positive (HR+), HER2-negative, PIK3CA-mutated advanced or metastatic breast cancer in postmenopausal women and men who have progressed after endocrine therapy.
