Valchek Tablet by La Renon contains Valganciclovir 450 mg, an oral antiviral medication used for the treatment and prevention of cytomegalovirus (CMV) infections in immunocompromised patients. It is particularly useful for AIDS patients with CMV retinitis and for organ transplant recipients at risk of CMV disease.

Valganciclovir is a prodrug of ganciclovir, which becomes active in the body and blocks viral DNA synthesis, stopping the virus from multiplying.
