Posid 100mg Capsule contains Etoposide, an anticancer agent from the epipodophyllotoxin derivatives.
It works by inhibiting topoisomerase II, an enzyme essential for DNA replication and repair. This leads to DNA strand breaks, preventing cancer cell division and causing apoptosis.

The oral capsule offers a more convenient alternative to IV infusion in certain cases, often used as part of combination chemotherapy regimens.
