2. Product Description

Pegfilgrastim Injection is a long-acting recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF). It is covalently bound to a polyethylene glycol (PEG) molecule, which increases its half-life compared to Filgrastim.
Pegfilgrastim stimulates the bone marrow to increase neutrophil production, reducing the duration of neutropenia and the risk of febrile neutropenia in patients undergoing myelosuppressive chemotherapy.

Prevention of febrile neutropenia in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy

Management of severe neutropenia following chemotherapy

Supportive treatment in hematopoietic stem cell transplant
Note: Pegfilgrastim should not be administered within 14 days before or 24 hours after cytotoxic chemotherapy. Always administer under medical supervision.
