2. Product Description

Lenangio Capsule contains Lenalidomide, a potent immunomodulatory and anti-neoplastic agent. It acts by modulating cytokine production, enhancing T-cell co-stimulation, and inhibiting angiogenesis within tumors. It is commonly prescribed for multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) with deletion 5q, mantle cell lymphoma, and other selected lymphomas.

4. Therapeutic Uses

Lenangio Capsules are indicated for:

• Multiple Myeloma (in combination with dexamethasone or as maintenance therapy after stem-cell transplant)

• Transfusiondependent anemia due to low-/intermediate1 risk myelodysplastic syndrome with deletion 5q

• Mantle Cell Lymphoma, Follicular Lymphoma, and other lymphomas in relapsed or refractory settings

5. Safety Profile & Side Effects

Common side effects:

• Fatigue, dizziness, headache, nausea, rash, muscle cramps, edema, constipation, decreased white blood cell and platelet counts, weight changes, joint pain, breathlessness

Serious/rare risks:

• Risk of blood clots, deep-vein thrombosis, neuropathy, and second primary malignancies

• Bone marrow suppression leading to anemia, neutropenia, or thrombocytopenia

• Teratogenicity: Strictly contraindicated in pregnancy; effective contraception required before, during, and after therapy (both men and women

• Strict adherence to physician-prescribed dosage and full coursedo not stop early even if symptoms improve

• Regular blood monitoring (CBC, kidney and liver function) essential due to risk of cytopenias.

• Avoid alcohol, which may worsen fatigue or interaction risk.
