Entehep 0.5mg Tablet contains Entecavir, a potent oral antiviral medication belonging to the nucleoside analogue class. It works by inhibiting HBV DNA polymerase enzyme, thereby blocking viral replication in hepatitis B virus (HBV).

It is mainly prescribed for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B infection in adults and children above 2 years, especially in those with active viral replication and liver damage.
